learn the bass guitar

I would like to learn to play the bass guitar well for a number of reasons. I like rythyms more than patterns but I do not think I could be a very good drummer. I like the old standard guitar, but its also something that can be a complex instrument with many variants- one of which is the bass, its more chill and relaxed… bassists are generally cool, chill people who dig rock, jazz and truly soul-moving music.

I also want to prove to myself that despite my voice, I do have talent as an “artist”

Well it’s something i’ve wanted to do 4 ages and just havn’t got round to it yet, as with most things in life
