I am really really sleeping now and dreaming. I am more awake now too during the day! This one is done! ~sapphoq
ps Anyone who has been diagnosed with a brain injury, traumatic brain injury, or “head injury” should insist on going to an ent doc and sign up for a sleep study. 47% of all folks with a tbi have a sleep disorder [per Medscape.com] and should be checked for sleep apnea. 6 years ago

I went to the ent doc and had two sleep studies done. It turns out that I have sleep apnea and I am getting a c-pap machine soon. Hooray for me!!!!!!!! I am delighted! :^) 7 years ago

I am practicing better sleep hygiene for the most part and when I do, I feel better.
I continue to not read in bed and that helps.

I have learned how to recognize when I am tired.
When I am tired, I go to bed!
I attempt to get up at the same time every morning and that has given me a tiny bit more structure in my life.
I have also been continuing to exercise. Now though, I make a conscious effort not to exercise after dinner.
I also try not to do anything “too exciting” before I go to bed that would keep me from falling asleep.
I am encouraged by my progress.
