Sleep outside with no tent

world youth day cologne 2005. 1.6million people slept outside under the stars. We slept in raincoats in our sleeping bags huddled together. Woke up with dew on us.

It was late, it was 60 degrees out anyways, and the tent was just way too far away (at least 30 feet). I decided to just keep laying down on the ground for the night. It was all right.

i had only an umbrella, on the patio. it was quite cool, but i would reccomend a pillow.

to make sure any vomiting I might have done didn’t land on the pavement… I’m actually quite considerate when I’m drunk.

at festivals in europe, and once in a park in the city when we just didn’t feel like going home

Well, I cannot say I slept a lot… yes most of the time it’s wet and cold, but the possibility too look at the stars while falling asleep is amazing… maybe next time I’ll choose a warmer country than Scotland, though ;o)

i had to do this on an overnight with some of my best friends. bug galore man
