okay … i am slow starting. i did week 1 one time last week … and i quite liked it, though i wasnt fully prepared (nowhere to hold my ipod or keys, had to carry them in my hand … they flew out of my pocket). i am downloading the podcast and doing it along to that. one problem is that its getting darker in the mornings so it may not be safe to run before work! but im such a beginner at this i dont feel ready to find a partner or running club.

I’m going to try again at this. In the past I have never finished more than week one or two. Maybe I ‘ll make individual day goals for week 1.
I got on the treadmill three times this week but I found I wanted to run more than the suggested walk run prescriptions, when I did I just ended up tiring myself out and not staying on for as long. Next week I’m going to stick program.
I need to begin to exercise. So many exercises afford multiple ways to procrastinate, i.e.. I need this or that thing before I can begin. Running however is a simple activity I can do around my neighborhood without any bells and whistles. The couch to 5K program looks like a great way to learn how to run for fitness.
