visit the bilbies at the Ipswich Nature Reserve in Queens Park

We visited the Bilbies after a picnic in the park on Tuesday. They are in the Nature Reserve in a special darkened display area. They have a re-creation of their natural habitat on display behind glass. It was fascinating watching them moving around in there. One was digging a hole, another was popping in and out of it’s burrow and a third one wandered into it’s burrow up against the glass, curled up and went to sleep.
