Wear more makeup

... and i already wear alot! It’s a creative happy thing, a ritual thing… and i do it just to please myself. if i ‘made-up’ to fit in or impress men i would use more natural styles. personally i like extreme arabic make-up styles which seem over the top where i live :-) I want to wear more makeup to feel like every day is a special occasion.

Everyone who is even thinking about wearing makeup (or everyone who uses skin care products, for that matter) needs to buy or borrow the book “Don’t go to the cosmetics counter without me” by Paula Begoun; she also has a website. Starting to wear makeup is bad enough for a beginner without dealing with products that have a poor texture or application. Using her reviews I’ve assembled cheap, drugstore brand makeup that seems to be really working!

It’s rather trying at times when the mascara rubs off and makes “mascara lines” on the underside of you eyes. Other times it’s just bonus, because it boosts self-esteem and boosts your “prettiness level.”

I wore some Maybelline, New York eye makeup, Crown Jewels. Makeup always has these bogus names like that on them. Emerald Isle, Crown Jewel, what have you. And some Great Lash mascara. I don’t like mascara, it’s makes my eyelashes kind of clumpy. I think it’s time I got some better make-up. Indeed.

But until the month is up, I won’t consider this goal done with.

I am generally wearing more makeup.

Something I’m not to fond of usually, makes a good impression on people. You can’t change people, I’ve found that out, so use what you’ve got!

That gobby kind of lipgloss, some mascara and some eyeshadow. Making sure to wash my face always in the evening prevents pimples from cropping up.

Because I feel a need to look pretty. And have shiny lips and colorful eyes. So I’ll feel covered if I accidentally start to feel ugly.

Make up is the only thing people see, what counts is the face under!
