That’s not a lot of reading for some people, but I feel really accomplished. Although I didn’t read every day, I committed to finishing at least a few chapters on most days.
It’s going to take awhile before I have a daily reading routine. I’m looking forward to picking up another book. :)

I used to be really passionate about reading. I was one of those kids who always had their nose in a book. But, as I got older, reading stopped being such an important part of my life. Perhaps not coincidentally, my writing suffered and I did less of that, too.
Well, I’m proud to say that I recently picked up a book again and easily read about a hundred pages in one sitting! I had forgotten how much fun it is to get lost in a good book.
My goal is to schedule some reading time into every day—at least an hour but hopefully more. :D

I saw an interview of President Carter discussing this book some time ago and have wanted to read it ever since.

Today I spent

some time updating my goodreads list. I also went to Barnes and Noble and bought a copy of Palestine: Peace not Apartheid by Jimmy Carter. I’ve been wanting to read that for a long time and am looking forward to it
