Endrina - a smile can really make a difference
A new year with new possibilities. I want to become more socially aware, regain my interests and be passionate about what is going on out there – in the world. A small thing we all can do in our everyday lives is to avoid products which are tested on animals. I want to learn about how the different companies out there produce their products, and support those who are environmentally friendly and do not do tests on animals.

I recently switched to Revlon/Almay for cosmetics on the advise of the “Companies that Don’t Test on Animals” list on www.caringconsumer.com. This is a pretty handy resource if you are trying to use more products from companies that don’t test on animals. It’s a PETA website. I am amazed at how many well-known and often-used company’s products are tested on animals when it is not even required by law that they be. Another company that I started using for household products is Method (can be found at Target). In San Antonio, it is not always easy or cheap to find the companies that are on the list…we’re not usually all that forward thinking Deep in the Heart of Texas.
