Question for all of you,

and please please answer.

What do you do when someone leaves a nasty reply to one or more of your entries? Does this happen to you? How often does it happen? Does it make a difference if the post is really personal compared to just an ordinary post? Have you ever not posted something because of how someone may reply to it? Has there ever been an entry that someone else made that you just HAD to say something unpleasant to? What do you do when you come across an entry that someone has wrote that you don’t like?

I’ve dropped a bunch of subscribers recently. That doesn’t normally bother me – you are all free to come and go as you please – but I feel that these losses might be because I haven’t exactly been the most interesting or active recently. That has been weighing on my conscience, and I’m sorry to you all.

Truth is the past four months have been a bit tricky for me. I’ve thought about explaining, but I don’t really know how to say it. Another big part is that I like to let the story play itself out, and then share, rather than give a chapter by chapter account of my life, if that makes any sense. I think – I hope – this is just about wrapping up, so that I can gather all the bits together and share with anyone who is so interested.

Also, for anyone who remembers this from oh so long ago… ::sigh:: I truly meant to do it. It just wouldn’t work. I probably needed some sort of software to make it fit. My surprise was a wordsearch that I had designed myself, with all of my(known) subscribers names in it. It looked great on paper, and I thought it was pretty nifty if i do say so myself but I couldn’t get it to materialize comprehensively on the computer. I have an announcement. It is imperative that you read this whole thing. It’s mean and it’s cruel but it’s the truth and it’s how I feel. And most importantly, it needs to be said.

Everybody, it seems, has cancer, has had cancer, has someone in their life who has or has had cancer, or has someone who has lost their battle with cancer. I hear people moaning for the cure for cancer, we need the cure for cancer, why isn’t there a cure for cancer? Help donate to so-and-so’s health care. Etcetera.

You are all morons. All of you. You’re stupid and you’re ignorant and you’re… you’re… You’re STUPID! Do you hear me? Do you really think that poisoning your body with chemo is a wise, smart move in a “valiant battle” with cancer? Or that radiation is a good idea? STUPID. Do you think that just because your doctor says so, it means it’s the only way? STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID.

It makes me sick to my stomach to hear about you whining for monetary donations when chemo and radiation are the kiss of death. You know what chemo does? It’s torture and it kills you. It creates more cancer. Why do you think people pray for remission? BECAUSE CHEMO CREATES MORE CANCER. It breaks my heart. How can you believe such lies?

Wow, are you still reading this? I’m surprised. I thought you’d flip me off as a raving lunatic…

THERE IS A “CURE” FOR CANCER. Do you know why you haven’t heard of it? Can you guess? The same reason that your friend/sister/grandfather/neighbor/coworker’s cousin needs donations. BECAUSE IT DOESN’T MAKE MONEY. Do you know how much money chemo makes? And how about when the cancer comes back? How much money does THAT make? Do you REALLY think that doctors, who in short, have sold their soul to the devil that is Big Pharma, do you REALLY REALLY REALLY think that they know better? That a part of them doesn’t drool with greed over your compliance and your ignorance? Health care? Try “sick care”. Do you know why they cover up the truth and tell you that people like me are out of their minds?

But hey, they went to med school and they are the authority. They “know.” Right? Like hell they know. The only thing more disgusting than their greed and lies is how you gobble it up like candy and turn on me for giving a different approach to treating cancer.

For God’s sake, DO SOMETHING. You’re reading this by an internet connection. Do some research! Google “natural cancer cures”. Look up the Gerson Institute. Subscribe to Natural News. Those are treatments I support. Don’t just sit there with your fingers crossed. If you’ve been praying, maybe this is your prayer answered. You want my prayers, you want my money – well I want YOU to THINK. I WANT you healthy. I want you to prevent cancer, not just cry for the “cure”.

There. I’m done. You can all hate me and I’ll watch my subscriber numbers drop, and I’ll have earned myself the reputation as “That freaky Lauraly of 43things” but I can’t stay quiet while this madness rages on around me. Most places I go, I make friends with guys, but I’m overwhelmed by how many women I’ve met through here! Now, I want to stress that I love all the men on here just as much – Creativeheart, Wayne, Chris, and the others I call my friends – but for me, girl friends are just SO rare and special that I am very thankful to have met all of you ladies on here. It’s overwhelming and I feel very blessed.

So thank you all for your wonderful support, wisdom, friendship and company.

I hope that the new year makes your dreams come true and that you all remember that the dark times don’t last forever. I’ll be thinking the very best wishes and thoughts for everybody, and thanks for sticking around while I took a break, too. I love you! (:

Almost two weeks here, and I’ve been very quiet. Sorry everybody. I’m not trying to be boring. It’s just that… nothing is going on! I’m bored out of my mind! We’re supposed to go to Mammoth Cave tomorrow… but then again, we were supposed to go today, so…

I had a mild case of the flu, which I’m all better from, and today I took Shawn for a looong walk. I only returned when my feet got blisters, lol.

Hummingbird’s super power is her miraculous healing touch, and her special ability of flight is granted to her with her winged sandals. Her weapon (not shown in picture) is her furious Mace of Fury.

Takergirl

Takergirl is imbued with super strength, and she is unmatched in her martial arts skills. Her weapons (not shown) vary from close combat sais, to a sling with slingstones – she is a formidable foe to anyone foolish enough to cross her path.

LauralyBeautiful

Lauraly’s powers are her invisibility and hypnosis. (You are getting sleepy, very very sleepy…) Her sole weapon is her beloved longbow, with a quiver of arrows at her hip (also not shown).

Together, these three lovely women combine their powers as a united fighting team and will combat and conquer all manner of crime!

As you might have noticed, Hummingbird Medicine, Takergirl and I have formed The Superhero Posse of 43things. We each have our own unique superpowers and abilities, plus individual weapons. I begged, pleaded, threatened, harassed and otherwise “convinced” Tommy to draw outfits for us. As of yesterday, Tommy has finally drawn our super hero outfits. There is a bit of fine tuning before I post them and our list of attributes, so in the meantime…

If we were ALL super heros, here are the powers that I imagine you having.

(This list is not conclusive. Some of you I don’t know that well, and others aren’t on that often, so if you don’t see yourself, please don’t take it as a personal slight.)

Joey was by far the easiest. His super power would be immunity to any and all diseases – including infectious zombie bites!

Creativeheart Heightened senses; super sight, super hearing, super… etc.

SpreadYourWings is the shapeshifter! I gave her one of my favorite abilities because she is so cool.

Lady_Farah can hear the thoughts of others.

Narcissa_S can breathe underwater or in any atmosphere.

Brain_stoorm is BULLETPROOF!

New Isabella can communicate with animals. Big or small, feathered or furred, she can hear and talk with them all.

ButterflyBubbles is the linguist. She can understand, speak, read and write any language.

Nuala is a human lie detector. Added to that is the power to make someone tell the truth.

Flutter has the power to make things grow.

Help! Could you all vote and tell me which book I should read first? I have to wait to place a hold at the library on the next Twilight book and I’m completely stumped on what I should read between now and then!

I’ve narrowed it down to the first Lemony Snicket Book, “A Bad Beginnng”, or “Inkheart”, by Cornelia Funke.
