make my sister a special deck of Oracle cards for her birthday

Peace- this one is kind hippy not spiritual, might do another one with a dove.

I want to do 21 (21st birthday) but it’s pretty obvious that I’m not going to be able to get that many done before she comes home which is on sunday, if I reached 10 and above then it wouldn’t look lame.

Made another. This one is the Moon card. It’s a woman sitting on a moon, painted in silver and blues.

Progress:
*Found a box to put the cards in, which is a soap box from boots, a see through plastic but the perfect size
*Made another card – Mother Earth
*Bought the rest of her birthday present today so if this ends up crap at least she’ll have something good
*Also bought a chunk of crystal to put into the box with the cards

Did another, “the Lovers”, it’s kinda shit, but I guess it will do.. So now I’m up to 4.

Done the Butterflies and Hurricanes one. I am being way way way too slow. I need to be doing like 4 a day

This is backwards because my camera phone is crap. but you get a better idea.

I’ve done 2! They took fucking AGES!! I don’t know how many I’m going to be able to make in the time I have but I need to speed it up. I like the results so far.
These are entitled The Sun and Divine timing. I like the contrast between the flowers and the skull, (life and death) which goes with the theme of time.

I got a pack of playing cards, I couldn’t get large ones so i’m just going to have to make-do with the standard size and just reduce them.. First problem is that cards have really shiny surfaces and although you can paint acrylic over them: it still scrapes off. I’m just practising one out now (and if it works out ok i’ll use it), I stuck a piece of newspaper of the card and painting the design on that.
