Finish my new website

I’m half way there, just gotta sort through a hell a lotta PHP. http://www.chriswells.eu that’s the address, you will see theres not a lot of content there i.e. posts and tutorials but the design is definetly there =D

I was creating a new social networking site with a (to me at least) unique perspective, but two things interrupted: 1.) I moved back to Madison so my long-distance relationship became a regular relationship, and 2.) I decided that any existing site like MySpace could eat up my idea and turn it into a feature of their network. No point, really. I did get a lot of experience in Ruby on Rails, though.

It’s not really that new, but still!

Some wacky ideas come and go, most of the structuring for the CMS is there, just some functions which I need to recreate as Classes.

I’m concentrating on the CSS design at the moment, as the present model is something lifted from www.oswd.org and slightly modified.

I’m 90% there, but I doubt I’ll have it all done before the new year.

Why is it I can design websites for other people in a timely manner but when it comes to my own I drag my feet and can’t decided on graphics. Somebody needs to kick me in the butt!
