Lived in Kyoto for a year. It’s a great place, especially for young people. Would love to go back and live there longer.

How I did it: Because i am living in Kanto, so it take a long way to got to Kyoto, take the train from Osaka, then bought a Free day bus ticket, the tour of Kyoto was begin!Kinkakuji(the tample of Gold) is wonderful, nijyojyo(The castle) was worthy to go too, but i think Kiyomizudera(The Tample of water or any what, i am not sure about it's english name) was not so interesting.well, that is all, you can't expect more in one day. I went to Kyoto today. Had a dinner at Hiro Japanese BBQ in Kiyamochi, Kyoto. I liked the taste. The staffs were polite and well trained. Tried BBQ, Beef Sashimi, Reimen noodle. It’s worth to visit. I found a web site showing good pictures.
is breathtaking. Visit the garden at Koto-In, a subtemple of Daitoku-ji, in the north. Visit Tofuku-ji. Wander along the riverside path at night bathed in the city light. Ride randomly around the city on a bike. Go to the kimono museum. Stay at “Tour Club” – cheap, well located and great atmosphere.
take your time. have no agenda. let the city show you itself.
Next destination is Kyoto!!!!
I want to see all the temples…and plus…lots of ppl said it’s one of the most beautiful place ever!!!
Envy you all who’s been there!!! Hehehehe… :p
