learn how to do my hair

100 went towards my hair – i needed a deep condition treatment.
and some went to food.
and the rest went to my mother like it should have.
damn.

BUT.

i now have somewhat restored, definitely blonder, healthier hair. and she taught me how to do it right, too. aww shoooot! bangs and all. which look mighty cute with my glasses. :]

15 of this is going towards hookah flavors.
40 of this is going towards dota ___
80 of this is going towards getting my hair done.
25 of this is going towards a new pair of shoes.
even though i should be paying my mother back.

oh, to be 18.

My hair is okay, I can put a bit of mousse in it and it will generally look okay but I’d like to be able to do something proper with it occasionally. (For example if I am going out somewhere nice). I have never really been much good at the whole hair/makeup business but I’d love to be.

I think I’m going to try curling my hair first as surely this is a good hairstyle to have in the bag!

i’ve kind of figured it out.

i don’t like my current color, so i’m going a bit more blonde. i was patchy blonde and brown, a terrible tinting mishap. now i’m a warm light brown. i want to go back to blonde, like champagne blonde.

if i blowdry my hair completely, brush it out, flip my head upside down, blowdry the roots, use a straightener on the bottom half while my head is still upside down, put a tiny tiny amount of wax or cream on the end of my bangs, and flip them backwards with said straightener, then finger comb them back so they feather out…

my hair looks great. better than i’ve seen it in years.
the problem? this takes me like 45 minutes to do. haha. and my hair is still the wrong color. so i figure i’ll go get it done, right? but i have so many other priorities. we need more stuff for hookah.[i think i’ll put in 20.] i need to get the warcraft battle chest [SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP that’s 40 bucks.] i need to get my eyebrows done[that’s ten at most.] and THEN i can get my hair done. [which is going to cost me probably a hundred dollars. fuck.]

seeing that i make ten dollars an hour after taxes, it should take me 17 hours to get that done. i worked like 6 today. on thursday, i’m working probably 7 or 8 hours. friday i’m probably working 6 again.

excuse my budgeting in my entries, but by my calculations i should have enough money to get my hair done by this weekend! :] even if i only work 6 on thursday. bwahahha :D maybe i should rearrange. maybe i should spend today and thursdays pay on getting my hair done and eyebrows. i’ll put in for hookah right after, and warcraft can wait. :]

So first I got bangs, then I got layers. I’ve watched my friend-stylist curl and prep my hair into fabulous beauty, but I cannot reproduce it for the life of me! Maybe I’m not practicing enough, but I just can’t hardly wrap my mind around the concept of fixing my hair. I got hair spray, combs, curlers, curling irons, goo, pins, and the internet full of tips and pictures.. but I still end up the very next day in a ponytail. I’d love to be creative and have interesting hair styles like other professional women. It’s frustrating!!

I don’t really do anything with my hair. Looking through photos I realize that my hair is basically the same in all of them. I would like to learn how to do some cute everyday looks and a few things to do for going out.

Step 1: Clean up my area (can’t do much if I don’t have any room)
Step 2: Find information online.
Step 3: Practice…...a lot.

I’ve never been a good hair stylist. I can’t braid that well, and I also want to know how to do hair so that when my baby is older, I can do her hair for her instead of taking her to a salon. I also wish I could straighten my hair better.

I just know how to do simple things. Like straightening my hair and putting it in a pony tail etc.

I finally learned how to do my hair. :) This summr I’m going to buy a good straightener so I can keep it up b/c rite now I have a crappy 30$ one…hehe

I haven’t accomplished my goal yet, but I’m learning to work with my hair instead of fight it. I’ve successfully cut back on the oily roots by not washing my hair as much, and it’s doing pretty well considering I haven’t been to the hairdresser in 4 months!! Now I just need to teach it to air dry without frizziness problems.
