How I did it: I booked tickets to go see Jersey Boys. I totally recommend seeing this show. It was easy enough to book tickets online which they email to you to print out. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to New York the 2nd week of June with 24 other people I go to school with. We saw West Side Story in a theatre in Times Square. It was so good! I loved it! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Was planning a trip to Chicago and New York, and really wanted to see a show. Me and friend decided we wanted to see Wicked, as we both love Wizard of Oz. Got ticket very easily, went to the afternoon session, and had an absolute blast. Best experience in a theatre, ever!! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to NYC over New Year's in '06. It was a blast. We saw Chicago on broadway which was amazing. It's an experience I'll always remember and I can't wait for the opportunity to do it again. Read how I did it…

How I did it: The first show I saw was with the family I worked for; I'm a nanny. We all went to see "The Little Mermaid" and while I don't know that I would have chosen it for my first Broadway musical, I can't deny that the sets and the talent is amazing! I'm not sure how Linda came about obtaining the tickets... probably just from the box office at about $100ea. I recently went and saw "Guys and Dolls" by myself and it was great. I'm biased, though,… Read how I did it…

I was a lot younger, but when I went to NYC with my family, I saw Rent. It was a great Broadway show and it was before the movie came out. I’d definitely like to see something again.

I saw the revival back in February, it was my first Broadway show. It totally blew my mind, I’d recommend it to anybody! I had heard rumors it was closing though…did anyone hear that too?
I’ve seen lots on (and off) Broadway. Next on the list is ‘Wicked’ which I hear is pretty good.

It was hilarious.
I saw Cats, but it kind of sucked because I was pretty young at the time. Also I just think it’s not that great of a musical.
I went to NYC last week with a friend. We caught Wicked, which was awesome and sadly awesomely expensive… Even better, we discovered a deal that most shows have daily if you have the time to take an hour out of your traveling. Shows often have a “lottery” system, and you queue up to enter for 2 tickets (around $21-30 dollars). 1/2 an hour later names are drawn. The tickets are for the front row(s) of the show and the number they draw depend on the size of the production (i.e. Wicked draws like 27 names of 2 tickets and Avenue Q draws 6 names of 2 tickets). It’s easier to ‘win’ on the low days of tourism (non-weekends. My friend and I “won” Avenue Q tickets for $21.50 each, and the show was so worth that price (but not full!). However, my FAVORITE show turned out to be CRY BABY, currently in the preview stage and priced at $54! It felt much more like the true musicals of the 50’s… Enjoy!
bjuwm back to work... uuuggghhh....
We went to see Young Frankenstein and Rent last week. Both of them were fantastic shows!!! It was so much fun and excited to be on Broadway to see the shows!
Fiddler on the Roof, and Sweet Charity. They were both really good. There’s nothing like seeing something live like that. The actors always have so much energy, even though it’s their million and first time performing it. I really want to see Les Miserables next. My school is performing it this april, and i’m in the pit orchestra, so it would be fun to see it done by real professionals.
