How to swim with whale-sharks
It made me
breathless

How I did it: This happened 2008 in Mexico. I booked this trip through my hotel. A boat took us out on the ocean where we found the first few whale-sharks, peacefully swimming around and eating plankton. With snorkel equipment and a guide, I jumped into the water and waited for the first SHARK to come around. I was scared to death (it IS a quite big fish :-D) and my only though was that it probably could swallow me without even noticing.
After the first "shock" however, it was simply amazing. My best moment was swimming in between 2 whale-sharks, only a few centimeters away from each.
This was my most unforgettable experience and I can only strongly recommend this to every one.
