learn how to do cartwheels

I come for a long family line of poor athletes, and my motor coordination leaves a lot to be desired, but I still think this would be an awesome trick to do in fursuit. :) I need to find a safe way to practice before I can try this.

Being a child of older parents, I never got to do these things, and I could never do them in the school playground. I want to learn before I get too old! If anyone lives in London and wants to come to the park and teach me….

haha i can sort of do them but i want to get better cuz i usually land on my bum or go all wobilly and hurt my arm :S

I always wanted to be cute and small and athletic, I wound up being 5’ 7 3/4’ tall and weigh too much, so I never did learn to do a cartwheel, so thats my next “if I’m gonna be stupid anyway it might as well be with something I wanna do” goal.
It does get easier dieting and losing weight right?

my granddaugther wants to do flips and cartwheels.. whenever she see a cheerleader she goes crazy with wanting to be around them hoping they’ll do a flip (mind you she’s only 4) and i’m not in the shape to do these now…. (LOL) so now we are learning rollovers anyone have any suggestion please help us out

i was in gymnastics for about 11 years.. its so exciting.. maybe i should start again.

The trick to doing a cartwheel is you have to bend the leg infront of your body slightly, and point your toe. Then go down and kick, but be sure to keep your back leg straight. You should land on one foot and then land on the other.

I’ve been able to do a cartwheel since I was like in preschool b/c I’m uber cool. :-) Naw, my momma taught me when I was little. Helped a bit cheerleading. heh.

I’ve tried to do cartwheels for so long and I’ve never been able to do them. For a while I could really care less if I could do them, but now since I found out that I had to do them in a show I’ve been determined to learn them. But after quite a few unsuccessful tries, I get discouraged and depressed. Any tips would be welcome if you have any!
