We went up north to one of our favorite spots: Tettegouche Camp at Tettegouche State Park. There, we had two new hikes we’d never done before, hence adventures #11 & #12! Woohoo! Maybe I will have this goal again next year.

9: The Singers concert at Nativity in St. Paul. Our co-worker is part of this group. Gorgeous sound in a gorgeous place.

10: All is Calm show at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis. Cantus is amazing. Amaaaaaazing.

It involves melting wax. I can say no more (lilyfairy . . . . . . . . ), but since it’s new to me, it’s an adventure.

5: Got pupusas at La Hacienda in that strip mall off West 7th, the one with Cooper’s Grocery in it.

6: Went to The ReUse Center to look for new flooring for the porch. That place rocks.

7: Went to this year’s Xmas show at Brave New Workshop

We went to see this for my birthday! It was a mini-adventure at its finest. Gotta hit this goal hard! The end of 2009 is coming up! Hopefully going to try another new restaurant this weekend with friends.

Seized (well, accepted) a last-minute invite to go to the Muddy Pig for a weeknight outing. Rare and fun.

We went and had a hot and lovely visit to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum last Wednesday. My DH and MIL as well as a friend piled in the car and admired the perennials, hostas, home demo garden, and water exhibit. Fun!

Well, I finished the restaurant goal and since that was kind of easy yet I still felt kind of boring, I thought I’d push myself to a twice-monthly adventure. I classify mini-adventures as anything kind of out of the ordinary: a trip to a museum, a new store, a project tried, etc.

For example, last night we walked down alleys instead of down streets in a quest for a potting table at the garbage. Instead we found a free working vending machine (wish we had a place for it to make an extra buck!) and a rockin’ yellow vintage Schwinn, which we grabbed.
