after procrastinating all weekend, i have just now realized that i didn’t save my first draft.
It could be worse.
I had printed it off my computer, so all i need to do is go back and type the pages again, make some necessary changes to my story, and I’ll be done with my final draft. ugh. such a waste of time, though.
It HAS to be 600 words or less, and what I had printed was exactly 600. So I really don’t have room to make the necessary changes, but I guess I’ll find a way somehow. 4 months ago
I’m almost done with my Three Minute Fiction short story for NPR’s contest… I like the story but it’s pretty unconventional. My creative writing teacher said she really liked my vocabulary, so maybe if I’m lucky it’ll get an Honorable Mention or something. It has to be submitted by Sunday at midnight, so wish me luck! 4 months ago
I have started working on the draft. It is a 140 word or less story contest. I am nervous, I’ve never been that great at confining myself to short short stories. But all the more reason to try, right?! 5 months ago
