Not only did I see it on opening day, I saw it three times in sneak previews before it opened. Browncoats are some of the nicest and most dedicated fans out there. Glad to be one of them!

I saw this flick three times over opening weekend, buying a total of seven tickets for myself and friends. It was, quite simply, amazing. Three of the people in our Friday night group had never seen the Firefly DVDs. After having seen Serenity, they all insisted they were going to Netflix the series immediately.
I plan to see it two or three more times next weekend, as well. It needs to make $80 million in order for Universal to greenlight more Firefly/Serenity movies. I have to do my part to help Serenity keep flying.
There’s no place I can be, since I found Serenity. But, you can’t take the sky from me.
I don’t dare say much about this film for fear or spoilers. I will say that I was completely happy with it, and can’t wait to check it out again.
I own the series on DVD. I am definitely going on opening day. If my goofy friend can force me to see the “plug-in art” Star Wars prequels on opening day, I can drag him to see Serenity on September 30.
I almost never go to the movies. I’m looking forward to this one, though.
