Initially I thought making a 3 year plan would take me months, but it really only took me weeks. I found a template that worked well for me: simple but specific. Basically, this is the pattern:
1. Think of three big goals.
2. Split those three big goals into three smaller steps.
3. Split each of those three steps into three achievable items.
4. Assign the items into three years.
I now have a specific but easy to read plan for the next three years, focusing on my health, my finances/living arrangements, and building and developing my career. The crazy thing is that the little steps seem doable but the big steps seem impossible. But I guess that’s the point of this exercise! 8 months ago
