This book was hilarious. I’m trying to get others to read it, but they don’t think it’s going to be good. IT IS.

I agree with bloomsday616 that Laurence Sterne is underappreciated and undervalued. Tristam Shandy is definitely worth the time. A Sentimental Journey by Sterne is also quite good, but different, of course, from Tristam Shandy.
Great book! Very funny.
I just watched the movie, which isn’t really a movie of the book, it is a movie about the making of a movie about the book (follow that?). But the movie talks about the book so much that it reminded me of how wonderful the novel is.
Laurence Sterne is underappreciated and undervalued. There are not enough people out there who have had the pleasure of experiencing Tristram Shandy. Maybe one of my goals should be to get more people to read Tristram Shandy!
