earn my ged

I have to earn my GED it’s a mus. Iam certified to be a Medical Assistant. The only that’s stopping me is what. That’s when it goes back to earning my GED.

I would like to recieve my ged so i can begin college and advance in the career that my mind is set on.

I was one of the ‘special’ kids in school. I was extremely shy as a kid. So, when I was high school age, I was at a school that wasn’t accreted for the purpose of state graduation requirements.

I’ve been working a retail job for the past few years. I knew I never wanted to have this job as a career. For the longest time, I wanted to do something with computers. But for whatever reasons, that never panned out.

I noticed in the past couple of years that I was very good with numbers. So, I decided, hey, maybe I should look for a career that deals with numbers.

A career in accounting, popped in my head a couple of months ago. I I researched accounting online and I thought, “this seems very cool”. Now I am looking at taking some classes soon.

But, before I can do that I must have a GED. I’m studying very hard right now. I need to prove to myself, if no one else that I can do this. No matter how long it takes, no matter how hard some of it may be, I will pass this test.

i’m planning on going to the 2 day orientation in april when they have it the first thursday and friday. it’s the only one that i can go to without worrying about getting a babysitter since my husband will be home to watch him.

i just recieved my GED test results, and it turns out that i scored high enough to acheive my highschool diploma!!! im freaking out. im soooooo happy!!!

i took my test, and i must say that i passed with flying colors!!!
i did acceptionaly well on every part of it too. Thank you to everyone who wished me luck, i really did need it. Much love

my testing is on monday, and i am very nervous… Ahhh

I have made an appt. to go for my testing to see if i belong in a class, or if i can go ahead and get my GED test done. I am very excited and anxious to finish. I hope things go well, i need to get started on my carreer hopefully by this fall.

There are a few colleges who will let you earn your GED and associates at the same time. You earn your college credits and receive your GED in the mail after you’ve met a certain number of credits. One thing holding me back from getting my GED was feeling like a loser stuck in the same spot forever and not wanting to take some nerve wracking TEST!!!! I go to Monroe College in the Bronx, they have ‘distance learning’ which is online courses. I finished my associates and now I’m doing my bachelors. I love it and it was totally worth it!
