make a grilled cheese sandwich

Melt butter in a pan. Spread two sliced good bread with Ranch dressing. Slice colby jack cheese so that each Ranch covered bread slice is covered in one layer. Sprinkle just a pinch of dry Italian herb seasoning over one side them slap them together. Butter one of the outside pieces of bread and place it in the pan, dry side down, into the melted butter. Sprinkle a little garlic powder on the buttered side. Cover and let cook for about 2 minutes on medium heat, then flip and cook for another two minutes or until cheese is melted, bread is toasted but not burned. Cut in half and enjoy…dip in a little more Ranch if you like. Don’t use American cheese…it’s an abomination. 20 months ago
