Show my parents where I live

There were some issues with their drive here involving several frantic phone calls, some swearing, wrong turns and threats to drive back to New York, but eventually they arrived yesterday.

They loved our apartment and we had a nice time going to my wife and I’s favorite restaurant around here (BBC)and my dad got some great Shepard’s Pie, and we relaxed with a movie.

Today we’re planning to take them to explore the city of Boston and see where I went to graduate school (Boston College).

My parents are on their way. I’m sort of freaking out. My wife and I have been frantically cleaning all week (more she than I because she’s awesome!). This may be a case of careful what I wished for, but hopefully we’ll have a great time.

I moved to Boston in 2003 and my parents have never been here to see me despite numerous offers to buy them tickets. Now my father is ill, and I really want him to see our place before he passes. We’re talking about getting it together. Let’s hope it happens.
