Celebrate The Wonder of 43T Pets

there will be a memorial to Sadie here. For now, words don’t flow, only tears.

Razz is an amazing lady, who despite a mullitude of talents, faces hardship after hardship. Apart from her own health problems, and difficulties with her pottery business, her daughters house just went on fire. Razz carries on though, ever ready to find a solution, never ready to give up. Perhaps her wonderful pets are her inspiration, along with granbeanie:)

BJ is a beautiful black chow, currently he’s sporting his summer hair cut…but he’s incredibly stylish whatever length his hair is:)
Sadly, age and cancer are taking a toll on BJ. But he carries on, happy just to be near Razz, happy to share his time and heart, happy to be her protector. No wonder Razz loves BJ so much, he is totally lovable:)

Lipton is Razz’s lovely cat, sleek and adorable, but a menace with air mattresses:) Still, he’s the happy bed cmpanion of both Razz and BJ. Lipton has faced some weight-loss recently, and we hope it proves nothing serious.

To me, Clarke is the saddest story. Thankfully rescued by Razz, but still not totally unable to trust:( Clarke leads a fairly solitary exisitence, and is unable to receive normal health care.
I think Razz would rescue any creature in need, and I hope someday Clarke’s fears will subside, and he can truly become a part of the family.

Of course we can’t forget to honour Honey, who sadly died over a year ago. Razz still misses this baby very much – how could she not?

Razz has brought many wonderful pets to 43T, and we hold each one of them in our hearts.

HeHe, I’m loving this goal. I smile everytime I look at it:)
But I’m not loving my computer at all…been trying to do the profile on Razz’s pets all weekend, and my computer is freezing up, refusing to upload photos, and just generally being a bane:(

I meant to write this entry hours ago, and then I went to CurlyChaos SoapDragon’s page to read up on Cora.
I read, and read, and cried and read somemore. I learned a lot.
The short version of CurlyChaosSoapDragon is Stine:)

I learned too of the beautiful Agatha and the heartbreak of their parting. Agatha seemed a dilemma to several vets, each offering such different opinions on a complex medical issue. One can only guess at the anguish this must have caused Stine as she struggled on all fronts to secure the best care for Agatha. sadly, Agatha’s physical problems were great exacerbated by her separation anxiety:(
I doubt I’ve ever encountered an owner who expended so much love, time, effort and expense trying to overcome these problems.
How tragic that the only solution was rehoming Agatha in a home where she would never have to face being alone. How brave and loving of Stine to always put Agatha’s needs first.
Stine’s pain leaps from the pages as she documents their parting.
Some may suggest Agatha is no longer part of 43T Wonderful Pets. I would argue that point strongly. Agatha’s legacy here will endure, I know I for one will always recall Agatha when I think of Cora. And Agatha’s curlycuddles will always be entwined with Cora’s.

Cora too is an astounding girl. She has faced so much…phantom pregnancy’s, deep depression, spaying that went terribly wrong.
Auto-immune lung disease, and most recently a venemous snake bite:(
Despite all these problems, and losing Agatha, Cora goes on, and goes on in such style:) The newly crowned Queen of Agility Classes, Cora The Invincible we salute you:)

Stine, international journalist extraordinaire, and budding music ciritic, has brought to 43T two of the loveliest pets we have. And their curlycuddles span the globe.

I’m so sad I hadn’t time to get to know Bedhead2’s beautiful cat:(
It seems his time is short as I post his portfolio.
None could fail to see how much he is loved, or the anguish bedhead2 faces at this tragic time.

I hope this very simple memorial will ease some pain, as we say goodbye to one of 43T Wonderful Pets:(

Sadie is a delightful border collie, who shares her life and heart with Mr and Mrs Wren. That makes her one very lucky dog:)
As you all know Sadie has been fighting cancer for a few months now.
Her courage is beyond question…she still seeks fun and love, and receives both in abundance.
Her sessions of Chemo have been trying, but Sadie is a fighter.
Now she faces a time of danger,the period when the cancer is most likely to return. She holds the hearts of so very many here, who will all uphold this beautiful girl, and her family, in their prayers and healing thougths.

It has been a pleasure and a blessing for me getting to know Sadie, and joining her and her family on this journey. Ultimately, it maybe Sadie’s last journey. But I’m not giving up on that sweet smiling face. I pray Sadie has many more journies, and shares each one with us.

I honour this beautiful and brave girl.

Somehow, the agony of death so often brings new life.
Jago will always be mourned, but tonight two brave new pups prepare to raise his Standard.
Two pups wait amidst the foliage to welcome and love their new master. And they bring their huge hearts to heal.

As they lie in slumber tonight, I wonder if those puppy paws will twitch, if those velvet ears will hear. The guiding voice of Jago telling them of their very special new owners. I wonder if their little dreams will be filled with the gifted memories of Jago, as he guides them in their new lives, and speaks of the wonderous love of dogs.

I think Jago will smile upon these puppies, happy to know his beloved owners will be healed and loved.

Edit for Names: The puppies are Wolf and Laika.

It is a great sadness that within such a short time of introducing Jago to this goal, that he departed this world and entered Etenity.
My deep and heartfelt condolences to Mahinui and her husband.

Jago faced a long battle against renal failure. His courage and love are now repaid, and now no illness or pain can touch him.

I believe Jago, and all our beloved pets, await us in Eternity. I believe they are restored to full health and youth, and enjoy great happiness and blessing. I believe too, that they still watch over us as they patiently wait for the joyous reunion.

I think tonight Jago will be smiling as he watches over the new pups who will take over the role of loving and protecting Mr and Mrs Mahinui. They will never replace Jago, for that is not possible, but they will bring their own special joy.

Goodbye beautiful Jago – you loved and served well. Now revel in your well earned rest.

YAY soooo many new pets have joined the goal. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry…did a little of both.
So I need to take some time, and update on all our new arrivals.
Actually, I’m wondering if I can take the photos people so geneoursly shared, and make each pet, or pet family a little portfolio of their own? Does anyone know if that’s possible? Or does anyone have a better idea?

Need to go make some food now.

Wren and the incredible Sadie. I think Sadie has touched every heart as she continues her brave fight against cancer.

Mahinui and her handsome dog Jago. He’s facing Renal Failure and is sadly separated from his family:( Sadly, Jago has now left us. Thankfully he no longer suffers.

Razz, the mommy of many:) including Black Jack, Lipton and Clark.
Bj seems to be facing some problems related to his age, and Clark has many problems:( I think Lipton is ok. They are all in my prayers.
Lipton seems to have lost some weight, let’s hope it’s nothing to worry about.

Jen and the lovely Trigger. Trigger isn’t a young cat but hopefully healthy. Jen has sadly lost 2 beloved dogs, and is searching for another to share her life and heart. I wish you godspeed.

Bedhead2 and her poor sick cat [I don’t know his name], but with renal failure he needs our love.
