climb another mountain

In 2007 I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. I really didn’t expect to ever want to climb another mountain, especially after getting altitude sickness very badly near the summit (made it to the top though), but now I really do want another challenge. Maybe Everest base came, maybe the highest mountain in Europe, but definitely something soon…

I recently climbed my first mountain – Snowdon in North Wales. It was a fantastic experience and now I want to climb another.

Thoughts of which ones are:

Ben Nevis – Scotland
Scarfell Pike – Lake District, UK
Cara Mountains – Ireland

I climbed Mt Washington in ‘98 and haven’t been to the top of a real mountain since. I’ve been back to New Hampshire plenty of times and I’ve hiked to the top of plenty of hills, but this summer there definately has to be a hiking trip in New Hampshire
