leave my city every 6 months, leave my country every 6 years

I went to Canada last month. I didn’t want to count Canada as leaving my country, but I will this once just so I can reset the timer. I’m going to New Mexico for Thanksgiving, and making distant plans to go to Ecuador in a couple years.

This used to be “travel” but I’m changing it to something more specific.
I think leaving my city will be fairly easy, I’ll just have to remind myself to do it. I’m going to try to make that “leave my state once every 6 months” but I’ll start easy.
I wish I could leave my country more than every 6 years, but alas, I realize my income won’t allow it.
