Longterm - Graduate Summer 2013 with a BS in Business Admin and a BA in Philosphy

If I take three classes per semester during Spring and Fall, and two classes during Summer, I will graduate with a BS in Business Admin and a BA in Philosophy after the Summer semester of 2013.

After completing this semester I will have successfully completed 5 courses at UCCS and will be ready to re-apply to the College of Business. Of course, by now I’ve already changed my minor twice, and am currently thinking about double majoring in philosophy and political science. I am going to take a class on the philosophy of death and dying and an intro to political science class this summer. I will also apply to the College of Business this summer, so hopefully by the fall I will have a better understanding of which direction i’m headed…

because my BBA is a shorter-term goal and I’m on my way to accomplishing it. I’m not even sure if I want my MBA anymore. After becoming a team lead and seeing the politics that transpire in a large business, I’m just not sure I want to deal with all that crap. I’d much rather work with animals.

It has been hectic getting financial aid, VA stuff, and classes into place with all the stupid requirements/idiotic staff members at UCCS, but finally, finally, I think I’ve broke through the initial wall of bullshit and am ready to start classes on Monday, thanks to the wonderful lady in financial aid that advised me I can get a loan tomorrow so I can buy books and a parking pass! I will be taking some introductory management class, a class on women in world politics, and that stupid info systems requirement (although I refused to give them my money for that one since they were complete dicks about letting me try to test out of it – so I’m taking it at the local community college instead).

Enrolled at UCCS. I am trying to test out of a Freshman information systems pre-requisite and then I’ll officially be in Junior class standing.
