jajay24 is wasting away in marguaritaville.
when i was in school both high school and college, i realized it was fun to learn. people liked you more. one i started learning more words and how to speak i really took to it. i thought i would get somewhere and really impressed my teachers.
it was so nice to have a feeling of being on my own and accomplishing something for a change. i really started to think how much people really cared for me and who my friends really were. then i started to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel what a better life was and is.

It is only little, but I have added a Facebook application that gives me a new word every day on my page. I look, read and repeat that word, every day learning something new. It’s really good! I also signed up for two word of the day emails, which I’m hoping will be just as good.

danita650 i fell off the wagon (goals) and have to get back on. 8.1.09
07/18/09:
My vocabulary and grammar is pretty good but you know what they say, “there’s always room for improvement”. I would like to increase my vocabulary by learning 5-20 new words per day. This is part of a larger goal to prepare to take my GRE which I hope to take sometime next year.

How you can clean up your language when a man you adore thinks it’s trashy. Thank heavens!

I’ve been making sure I look up words I’m not certain I know the definition of. The web makes it really easy to do that, since I’m sat at a computer most of the day.
I also have a desk calendar that has a new word each day, but the words there are either obvious to me, or far too obscure to be useful: not much in the middle ground!

I think this is kind of a lifelong process, so I’m just going to get crazy and call it a day on this goal.
That being said … I feel like I should have used more big and impressive words in this last entry.
Multifarious! Brouhaha! Loquacious!
