Many of my classmates came from Vietnam. I would like to speak the language when I visit Vietnam with my Vietnamese girl friend this year.

Well I now have a vietnamese girlfriend that seems to be doing a pretty good job of this. You’d be surprised how many different sound the a can make. I can somewhat have a conversation when relating to food although her mother laughs at me all the time.

I’ve actually been using my little Vietnamese lately. Even having exchanges that are beginning to resemble conversations. But I’m still really low on vocab.

So..starting up lessons again on Saturday. Yay!

My mom grew up in Vietmam. She tried to teach me when I was little and now i regret not learning. She always talks to my grandma in Vietnamese and it would be nice to join in the conversation.

I want to learn Vietnamese,my future wife is vietnamese but she can only speak it.I want to be able to help her also but I cant speak it at all.

I have just met the girl i am going spend my life with, i am Cypriot and my dream is to be able to speak Vietnamese so i could communicate with her family this would be great!!
