half of the job is done now. For the other half… parts have arrived so this should be finished by end of this week. Ha!

the wheel problem has disappeared when tyres were changed to the winter set. No more creaks!!
Well, now to change oil and spark plugs but this bf can do himself and parts are not that expensive. He was in automobile mechanic college a thousand years ago but still hasn’t forgotten everything. Siiiigh :)

And it was worth doing! Now it works perfect and I am really glad we had it fixed.
Car #2 needs to wait a bit now argh, money, money, everything is money but I keep insisting on getting it mended asap.

And it does irritate me (i.e. the fact that they are not well maintained). Bf and I have both a car and there’s always something that needs repair. Bf argues that his car (that I use more often, btw) should go first as there’s something wrong with the engine. Well, mine in turn (that bf uses more often) has something wrong with one wheel. It creaks awfully and I can’t stand driving it. I think it may be that shock absorber or so, and an element simply has to be changed.
Our budget is quite tight at the moment but I will insist on getting BOTH cars repaired asap. If we don’t have it fixed now, it will get worse and thus more expensive. And both him and I need a car to drive to work. So they have to work well.
We pay 50/50 for all car repairs, as we use them interchangeably. Ough, I’m going to talk him into having cars mended now, with equal priority. Or I won’t be convincing anyone, I’ll just call the mechanic :)
