Me and friends are going to do this, what kind of camper van would anyone reccommend?? Any advice is welcome, I know he would love a VW the only thing that i fear is the repairs cost when it breaks down, so was looking at a chev instead, anyone got any ideas??

Don’t know where the urge came from. Just seems like something every American should do. I’ve been around the world and driven all around America as a trucker, seeing billboards for cool places to visit. Someday, I’m going to just hop in the RV and head west, stopping wherever I damn well feel like.
East to West I think

It would be good to get a camper and just go from East Coast (I’m thinking Acadia National Park) to Washington State but not straight across. Want to explore off the track, Blue Ridge Parkway, New Orleans, Texas, Rockies (again) just everywhere really. If anyone has any tips or great places I should go then let me know.
