only keep things that are beautiful or useful

Even though we’re using cloth bags at the grocery stores, there are other plastic bags that creep into the house. I discovered a place yesterday that’s not far from where I work, where I can off-load those extra bags and get them recycled. Yay!

I just reduced the number of twist ties in half. It’s funny how those “free” and abundant things in life can get a little aggravating…especially these ties that are tangled and I’m trying to select just one from a mass…

We’ve got a box with items no longer useful to us, to go to the thrift shop.

It’s time to see if there is going to be another box to accompany it, and to get these things on a path to usefulness for someone else.

Got rid of a few items that are no longer useful (to anyone).

I grew up in a household where almost everything was saved. It was chaos. So I’m the opposite. I love having only the things that are useful and beautiful. Having margins around the things is beautiful to me.

I enjoy giving away things that are no longer useful to me. I want the things to find homes where they are used.
