move to washington

I have always loved Washington,the weather and I get along very well. Now my husband lost his job and I told him this is it. Lets go. Cindy

Perhaps there is only one person to blame for my choosing washington, and that is— stephenie meyer. If she hadn’t had written Twilight, although the idea of twilight-gone, well that’s just not right. The way she describes Forks! Wow!!! I’ve always been in a big city, in texas! Enough said. Its always hot and I hate the fact that our christmas are not what christmas is supposed to be. And the weather of washington seems so perfect!

i’m not giving up… i’m just gonna acomplish some other things before i make the huge journey across the country!

i’ve wanted to go to washington state for a long time now.. and i’ve never quit been motivate enough to. or i didn’t know how i would exactly go about doing it. so i was sitting one day thinking about what the heck i’m gonna do with my life. and i decided that after i am done with school and my contracted with osu is over… which will be about 5 more years, i am going to do it!!!! so i’ve started to collect all of my loose change and dollars bills that i have and putting it in there… hopefully that will work!!! it’ll be my gas money to get out there!

Well we got here on August 18th and I will tell you this much it was worth it! My family is now in Camano Island WA. We love it, we are happy, my kids are happy and that is most important. Just goes to show that if you want something bad enough you can have it. We worked really hard to get here and all I can say is if this is your goal research, visit and then decide to make the big move. OH and for all the naysayers picture this my fingers are in my ears and my tounge is sticking out and I am saying ne ne ne ne ha ha ha!

Well we are ready to get…but now my ex who was in agreement with the move is threatening the kids with court. They went for visitation last week and the las two day’s he pretty much brawbeat them with threat’s and questions. Him and his wife pretty much tagg teamed them both. They came home really angry and sad…they are 14 and 12 and really didn’t deserve to go thru that. He told them that he will fight us in court and if it get’s nasty than so be it. I am very, very angry because up until this point he had stated that it would be a great expereince for the boys…and now if he want’s he can ask the judge for an order to stay. Which mean’s I would have to give up custody during court preceedings or I would have to stay in Cali…until we are done. I didn’t want a court battle and I don’t understand why he is doing this as we both have never had any kind of issues with visitatin or the whole matter. Sigh….....

My husband and I have talked about moving to Washington for over the last three years or so. Well last year we took a family vacation to Washington and OMG we all fell in love with it. The green tree’s the clean air, the people, the life-style is so much different than here in California. So we decided that this is what we wanted to do, we have talked to each of the kids indivdually and collectively as a group and they are dying to get this done. We went up last week and found a rental on Camano Island and oh it is so beautiful. So the plan is to finish our home here in California list it, sell it, but during the listing we will be moving to Camano. :) Can’t wait.
