    Week One 4 months ago

    Week one is done. I started doing the cardio aspect of P90x with Adam. Tuesday was Plyometrics (which kicked my ass), Thursday was Yoga (which also kicked my ass), Saturday was Kenpo (which also really kicked my ass), Sunday was X stretch.

    Even though school is starting up I’m really hoping to be able to keep up the workout routine. * fingers crossed!*

    I’m not really doing it for weight loss. I’d actually prefer to stay at 110 so I can continue to donate blood. I’d just like to be more toned (and get into better shape for when I can start dancing again).

    So even though I’ve been being active I haven’t been doing the P90 workout for the past two days.

    Today however, I did the p90X yoga with Adam. Holy crap intense!! But the feeling it leaves you with at the end is quite amazing. :)

    So I didn’t really work out on Saturday and Sunday, but I was extremely active both days, not just vegging on the couch eating chips.

    Today started with 90 sculpt again. Went fine. I feel myself starting to slip out of working out and I don’t want to! I’m trying to get fit. Soooo, that means tomorrow is cardio. I really hate cardio… :P

    Today I tried upping the weights, but going from using 2 1/2 pounds (yeah, I know I’m a weakling) to 5 pounds just was not happening. I went through two movements (?) using the 5 pounds and was just like, ok no more. I guess I’ll just keep doing that. Using the 5 lbs until I can’t anymore.

    I almost didn’t work out today. I was feeling really depressed when I woke up (at 7 am when my alarm was set for 8:30! >_< ) and just didn’t feel like facing the day. But I called my gramma and got into a mood that I could work out in and went for it.

    Cadrio is still kicking my ass. :( I guess I can’t except working out to magically make me all fit, but I thought it would be at least getting a little easier.

    That probably has to do with the fact that I’m not eating very much though. I’m just not hungry very often. Don’t get me wrong I’m not just not eating. I’m just eating really small portions.

    Hopefully Sarah will soon be doing this work out to so that we can chat about it! :D

    P90 Sculpt. Went ok. Didn’t up weights because I wasn’t feeling all that good this morning. I’m so ready for it to be friday.

    Got up at 7 am… I wanted to sleep until 8:30. * shakes angry fist *

    Work out was good. Cardio today. It’s still kicking my ass big time. I’m pretty sure that the nauseousness was caused by giving blood because today I also didn’t feel up to eating and I felt and feel fine.

    I’m excited to be getting into shape. It’ll help if I get that volunteer position at the horse farm this summer. :)

    See I told you I’d get totally back on track today. Did P90 sculpt 1-2 again. My stomach wasn’t feeling up to food so I opted against eating before the work out and it went fine. I think I really only need the food for the cardio. 7:30 am is just waaaay to early for me to be eating anything.

    Work out went good. I’m thinking of maybe upping the weights next time around. I also need to buy myself that $400 laptop I saw and put the videos on there so I can stop having to ask Adam for his.



    Day 6 8 months ago

    Today I technically didn’t work out, but I did run around playing with my puppy for a little while (and I think that bit of the walking that I did yesterday can carry over to today). I’m just not in the mood to ask Adam for the workout video.

    So tomorrow I start again, but I was still active today so I’m not counting my streak broken just yet. Now if I don’t work out tomorrow I’ll have to start all over, but I’m not planning on letting that happen.



    Day 5 8 months ago

    Today was cadrio 1-2 again. Ugh! This one lets me know just how out of shape I really am. lol

    I got up at 8:40 am (It’s a weekend, yay for a little extra sleep!), I ate my half a cup of applesauce before working out (currently finishing it off now) and didn’t get as nauseous as last time, it only turned up in the last five minutes and quickly went away. I don’t know if that’s because it’s been two days since I donated blood now or if it’s because of eating something. shrug But the applesauce didn’t hurt, so I will continue with it. :)

    When I got to about 10 minutes in I was ready to give. I was just like “I don’t feel like doing this today. It’s too warm.” But I stuck with it and about 10 more minutes in was feeling awesome.

    I tried to push myself a little bit harder today to see if I could get myself to sweat. I did a little. But I can’t do the video all the way through full out, but instead of taking breaks, I just modify the moves a little bit so I’m constantly moving. I think that if I stopped I wouldn’t get back into it. Or at least the old me wouldn’t have. Either way, I’d rather not risk it. :P
