Hanoi won over Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) for next year’s trip. The tentative month to visit will either be on March (spring) or October (autumn) 2013.

The deciding factor is the climate. Our company accountant, together with her family, visited Saigon last year and, according to her, the aura of the city is similar to Manila especially with regards tot he climate. That part of Vietnam obviously have 2 distinct seasons only : rainy and summer. Just like in my country.

Travelling is supposed to exposed a person to something new and different. I don’t think it would be worth the money I would be investing on the trip if I’ll only end up feeling like I never left home. So, Hanoi it is. 9 months ago

I really wanna go someday soon, before I’m 30 preferably. I’d love to go and see my roots- see the places where my family lived, see the culture, the food, the environment! Everything. 22 months ago

I’ve heard it is a very beautiful lush tropical place. Want to explore the country that was a huge part of my childhood – hearing about the VietNam war. Also, love the french language, so will enjoy it’s french history. 23 months ago
