well, not really, but the whole experience
is forcing me to reconsider a lot of things,
from the way I live, my relationship with money,
what I want for myself, how important my time is.
i’m curious to see where i’m going…

i’m curious to see where i’m going…
status change: from unemployment to under-employment
so i need to use my time funly and wisely (i know, but i like funly)
now that i can breathe through my nose exercise might be easier to manage, as i wont be gasping.
also, i want to write, work on a new comic strip, and other stuff to be specified later.
still waiting to start contracting
baking bread
driving myself crazy, very slowly, so that i can savor every minute
reading
nurse maiding a blind-deaf dog
star wars battlefront
working on a webpage
gardening
cooking
figuring out what I’m going to…..
have some part time contract work until the end of the year at least, still some thoughts are churning about what to do next and where I want to go, so I’ll rename this goal when I figure out what I want/where I’m headed….
no news from the ex (boss) about possible contract work
wondering where the hell everyone is these days (when I have nothing but time there seems to be no one around (here or the web) to bullshit and/or create with)
cleaned up a bit around the house/garage
listened to elvis costello/fugazi/ccr/pgmg
tried not to think about the void
talked with my brother on the phone about some awful things in the past and the enlightenment we got (are getting) from it now
downloaded vacation photos
almost missed my bus to the sonogram appt. (a boy!)
continued in the gournal….
1. have a septoplasty
2. draw a comic strip
3. write
4. develop my work skills (semantics and web stuff)
5. exercise (run, swim, elliptical, kayak)
6. fix stuff around the house
7. get ready for the new baby
8. not go insane
9. find a new (exciting and better) job
10. meditate
11. Play saxophone
12. Practice Nunchaku
i’d add language study too, but something low key (roman alphabet, L to R, similar phonology to English, regular-ish verbs…) have to look this up.
