It’s been said that everyone can be related to another by degrees of separation. So to play we’ll be linking one person to another. The main thing is celebrities but you can use anything…places, books, movies…once you can show how it’s link directly. You also need to state how they’re related.
Example:
Angelina Jolie
::married to:: Brad Pitt
Second Entry:
Brad Pitt
::acted in:: Troy
I hope that makes sense. Anyone can start!

The goal of this game is to make a story with people posting it one sentence at a time so for example the first person would say “Sam was walking down the street.” and then the the second person would say “Then he suddenly found a winning lottery ticket on the ground.” And so on, so just be as creative as you want and let’s begin.
It was a dark and stormy night.
I’ve always wanted to say that.

In this game you don’t just give the automatic word associaton from the final word given. You go two words back, then add your own. So if the words were Computer Hardware Store, you might say Hardware Store Clerk, and the next person would say Store Clerk Apron.
I think we might even stretch the concept of “add a word” to “add a phrase” if it seems to work and doesn’t get out of hand.
So I’ll start off with… Yellow Gold Fish.

a variation on my first game.
This time we start with a four-letter word, still changing one letter each turn, but we have a specific target word in mind. F’instance, we might begin with “cat” (If cat had four letters. :P) and aim to end with “dog”, so we’d go “cat”, “cot”, “cog”, “dog”. Make sense? btw, we can change the order of the letters.
Plus, whoever achieves the target gets to choose the next pair of words.
For now, I’ll start with “Dick”, and we’re aiming for “Jane”.

Here goes nothing. To play you just take the word the person before you left, Google it post the first picture that shows up here and pick a word to describe it. So then the next person would have to google the describing word and then…
Here’s the first word dancer.

Okay, the person before you will pick a fruit, post a picture. Then you have to post a picture of another fruit that starts with the last letter of the fruit before. I’ll start Mango.

1 – Go to Wikipedia. Hit “random”
or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 – Go to Quotations Page and select “random quotations”
or click http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote on the page is the title of your first album.
3 – Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 – Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together.
5 – Post it here

I see so many friends playing daily games I wanted to join in the fun.
I love pictures that I find online. Every word has it’s own set of images that you can call up from bing, or google, or whatever search engine you like. I think finding the perfect image to illustrate a thought is a very artistic expression.
I’ll ask for a word. The person playing after me will find an image to suit that word, then give another word for the next person to find.
So let’s get started! Someone please find me a…Unicorn!
