Travel across the US

Hopefully I can do this this summer. I want to just get in a car and travel coast to coast- maybe follow a lonely planet guide see sites, have fun spontaneously and just feel like im really living

I have never been to New England, it was gorgeous. So green and the people were so nice. Here in Utah there is a definite us against them mentality and as a result, people cut each other off in traffic, refuse to let people merge, never stop when there is someone with a flat tire on the side of the road, avoid eye contact on the street and just generally seem unapproachable.

In New England, people kept slowing down to let us over and stopping at a cross road to let us through, they gave us plenty of room to merge in and there was never a person on the side of the road without someone stopped to help them. We were really confused at first when people stopped to let us in, we kept thinking WHAT are these people doing?!

It took us a while to adjust to not seeing huge billboards on every road and seeing huge masses of trees everywhere we looked, even near big cities.

I am hoping to make a trip across the US on my scooter this spring to finally take in the mid-west and the south.

I’d really like to do the Jack Kerouac thing and travel across the US next summer. I’m still trying to figure out a cheap way to do this without hitchhiking on motorways and the such.

I went to New York, it was a blast.
Last year I went to Montana, California and Colorado

This year I went to Hawaii and Nevada and have trips booked for Maine and Massachusetts. Still need to get to Alaska! Oh yeah and all of those states in between here and New York.

Went to Seattle earlier this year, loved it. Seattle is a really nice place. Fantastic Sushi.

Booked a trip to NY – that is one of my TOP places that I want to go and I am really excited.

I’ve been to quite a few states, but I want to see them all.
