i never lived by the “sea”, but i did live by the great lakes. there was a period in my life where i spent nearly every evening on the shore, until night fell, in all weather, in all seasons.
something about water i love in all its forms. streams, inland lakes, big water, oceans – hot tubs, showers, rain – with ice in tall glasses, or simply out of a bottle on a trail or out of a pump in midwinter – frozen on a hillside or mountain or under foot and ski – fog and cloud – tears and sweat…

I’ve been spending loads of time by the sea recently mainly because of my goal to go for a walk every day and i’ve gotta admit that it’s definately therapeutic. The sea was really still yesterday and it was so peaceful and calming.

Went to see some bands that were playing on the beach last night and the sea was so tranquil. The effect of the (almost) full moon on the water was breathtaking. Definately worth it.

I love the sea (which is quite a good thing as I live right by it) but at the moment the amount of time I spend outdoors being by the sea has seriously diminished. The sea has such a calming influence on me that I really should make the time to enjoy it more instead of allowing the “evil internet vaccuum” to suck up all of my time.
