My husband and I were in the Daily Show audience last Thursday. Because we got lost, we were the very last people allowed into the auditorium, but we still got good seats. No one asked to see our tickets or any evidence that we’d signed up to see the show. In fact, security told us we wouldn’t be allowed in because all the seats were taken, but we asked very politely and were allowed into the line. Some rude people came right after us and were turned away.

Look for me on September 14! With luck, the weather will be nice and everything.

My husband got us Daily Show tickets for September for Valentine’s Day. He also bought plane tickets so we can go to New York for several days to celebrate our anniversary. Rock!

It was a bit of a letdown b/c I expected so much. A lot of waiting in line for not much show. Since you will be waiting in line, GO WHILE THE WEATHER IS NICE.

i wish there was an inbetween “worth doing” and “not worth doing”. We enjoyed our trip to the daily show, but agreed that it seems punchier and livelier on tv. maybe it was the teleprompters, the pauses or the cameras, but it seemed less real in person.
i don’t really want to discourage people from seeing it live, it was fun.
