i think that if you are happy and satisfied with yourself, you will be more likely to do random nice things for people if you dont know them, for extra buzzes! its great just giving someone completely random a compliment or something and seeing them smile =]

I googled “making random people’s day” (or something like that), because I’ve recently discovered that just stopping a stranger talking to them, asking them a simple question, or whatever, is a great way of making people smile.
However, I found this place looking for tips and ideas on how to make random people happy. This is definately something I’d like to do more of, and even though I’ve done it in the past, I surely don’t consider myself done with it ;)
yeah..its kinda awesome seeing someone smile, and knowing that it was because of something you did
i may have done this before but i wanna do it again on purpose jsut to make someone happy
Ken Chen Trying to keep my desk clutter at a minimum
It’s near impossible to understand what can make another human happy unless you’ve been in their shoes. I found in the trivial stuff, in the stuff that make us smile and lingers for a while in our mind making us happy, this is an easy goal, in the long shot, the things that can make a human happy for a long time, this is a very hard goal.
I made three people happy of three tries. I’m sad.
Worth it? yes.

My first try to fullfill this goal was hard because how I’ll know what makes a human happy without asking them first?!
I tought of stopping a random person and asking what would make her/him happy but I balked at that idea.
So, so far. I gave two people from 43things a gmail invite they wanted to get, I hope that would make them happy at least in the “having a gmail account” context.
T has been polling me, T likes me. But right now I don’t want to start a relationship. So I thought it would make T happy if we share some time together. I took her to the movies and then to my home and we frolicked, kissed and just cuddled. She was happy, but that left me sad. I gave her a couple of hours of happiness that would become sadness if she gets too attached to me.
This goal is too complex and requires a lot of ethical debacle. I’ll mark it as complete, Worth it.
Nothing too noticeable with this goal recently. I did though get made happy by a random person.
Yesterday and buddy and I went to BW3’s in our Army uniform. A random guy bought our beers. That’s cool stuff…it made me proud to serve and really humbled me.
Thanks random guy!
i smiled @ this really sad-looking little girl in a gas station. and she ran up and hugged me. it was super cute.
I do this occasionally, but i could probably do it more. Ive helped old people on and off of trains and stuff like that, but i think i want to do more meaningful things. im not saying that stuff isnt important, but i want to make a random person, really happy :)
