I learned Adult First Aid and CPR online. I think the site was called Online First Aid and CPR Certification and their url is http://firstaidcpronline.com
I learned everything really quickly and easily and now I know how to save a life!! : )
How I did it: In my Healthcare Industry class, we all went through the Red cross Cpr and first Aid. It took about two-three weeks, and It was actually really easy! We all took the the tests, and almost everyone got certified. It was a miniscule step towards being a surgeon, but still, a step! Read how I did it…
secretmonkeys is about to watch Scarface
How I did it: I did a course about a year ago, It lasted one day and for the most part it was just common sense. I just hope that now I know how to do it, I don`t have to use it. I did enjoy playing with the resucitation dolls though. Read how I did it…

theaphro hello again...
I wish CPR/First Aid training were a high school graduation requirement. Or better still, required before driver’s ed training! Anyway, well worth the effort, and I hope more folks add this to their goals.
i really want to get back into the medical field and this will be my first step! Bring it on!!
Yeah I got my Adult , Child , Infant cpr and my first aid it was really easy but remember this R.I.C.E and C.C.C I don’t remember what rice ment but the three Cs are Call Check Care.
I took my First Aid and CRP classes through CASY…it was only $30, and the class was only 3 hours long.
the class was given by my job but to learn how to save a life should be important for everybody
For a few years I worked at a daycare, and taking classes for both child and adult CPR/First Aid was mandatory.
Even though I never had to use my learned knowledge (Maybe I should be thankful?), the information is truly good to have, just in case.
But, having moved and changed jobs to somewhere closer to home, I’ve slacked off on this goal, leaving my CPR and First Aid cards expired.
I should mark this goal as “Want to do again”, and brush up on the knowledge of these very useful skills.
so i recently got recided in just general 1st aid and cpr but even then i don’t feel i could save someone’s life or really do anything. prob my low confidence, self-esteem, but other than that,
in the case of cpr or like larger emergencies i don’t feel like i could remember the appropriate stuff to do and i want to feel confident. anyone??
thanks =)
