How I did it: I went to see The Raconteurs at Liverpool Carling Academy on May 15th, after wanting to see them for about a year, and afterwards I stayed outside in the pouring rain for about 4 hours and finally he came out.
He was incredibley lovely, stopping to thank me for buying the Jack White Holga I had round my neck and asking if I wanted him to sign it... of course I said yes :)
Undoubtedly the best day of my life, bar none.

He kissed me and hugged me twice (only once after I asked) and let me wear his fedora after offering to take a photo with me. I also got to give him a Howlin’ Wolf 45. Really, he’s the nicest and sweetest guy, you just have to give him space and make sure he understands the reason why you’re saying hi rather than slobbering all over him.
