Choosing next actions for this goal will probably be kind of random, but I would like to always have something identified, something I believe will make my life richer. So for today, my next action is: use the “Ganesh” kit I bought a few months ago. He is the remover of obstacles, which seems apropos to this goal.

I feel like I’m doing more and more of this lately. Partly because I’ve gotten busy with yoga teacher training and homeschooling activities, plus chorus rehearsals started up again last week, but really I also think it’s an attitude shift. I’m spending more time doing things; less time at the computer. I’ve been reading more, and spending a lot more time with my son than I had been doing when he was in school. And, because I’m with him so much of the time, it’s also become more important to insist that I carve out some time for myself, too. I really need quiet time to recharge my batteries, and also time to do yoga and other things. So, when I do have time to myself, I’m trying to use it more wisely.
Yeah, life is good right now. :)
This is another thing that’s come out of my Rosicrucian studies.
In many ways, I think I already do this, but I also know that I can still do more. I think mostly it’s a matter of awareness – if I notice how I’m spending my time, I can choose activities that are really interesting, and will build happy memories for me and my son, instead of spending extra time sitting at the computer (for example).
I’m not sure how to quantify this goal just yet, but I thought I’d put it out here while I’m thinking about it. Maybe another 40-day commitment type thing. We’ll see.
