Loving Self and Loving Others 14 months ago

There is one thing that I’ve learned and I’ve made a good habit of. That is telling those around me, that I love them. It’s not always easy to say those 3 little words, but it is so worth while and it makes both your day and your loved one’s day.

I know that when I was growing up, it was not said enough. I didn’t develop a good sense of self-love. I found that my self-love and sense of self-worth were linked together and those were linked to doing well at school or some other task. I’m sure that my family would say that there was unconditional love available… but I don’t remember it in that manner.

It doesn’t matter now, what matters now is that I love others and myself. I have grown to forgive those who in my past I held accountable for things that hurt me. No one can hurt me, except myself.

So… the bottom line is to stop hurting myself and start treating myself like the terrific person that I am and love myself and others.

So, on this list of saying I love you to… is myself.

And I love all of you also

Every Night and Every day... 2 years ago

I remember to tell AefA that I love her, no matter how angry she might have made me that day, or how much she didn’t listen.

And since I’ve been able to speak with my husband every night, almost, I can tell him just how much I love him and how proud I am of him. He’s certain that he will be deployed this year… and that he would be stationed at Ft Benning, which is not a bad place to be… And I can’t wait to be with him again. This living apart has been an okay experience, but I don’t feel married.

I love my family… my in-laws are totally wonderful. And considering that I have two sets… it makes it more interesting. My MiL is wonderful. She and I get along so well. And her whole family are caring compassionate people. I love them all so much. And I tell them all the time… whenever I get to see them. I think that I will have to make more time to see them. Now that I know that my days in Ohio are numbered.

Saying “I love you.” Can make a huge difference in someone’s day. So, I try never to forget to say it.

    Blessings,

    Shadowchilde

But I’ll make sure people see it…and make them want it to be a part of their goals.

always remind others how special they are to you. People tend to forget over time.
