Got the machine 2 months ago but have not used it. Dad’s using it though. I will start tomorrow, and do 5 mins per day (it’s a tough machine to overcome… and I’ve not exercised for 2 years)

How I did it: Ever since summer classes started, I have been going to the gym afterwards....and now I am getting use to going. Even if I don't want to. I been working Monday thru Friday expect on Wednesdays. I know its been just three weeks but I am starting to feel better and stronger. Woot! Read how I did it…
How I did it: Luckily, I've got friends who work out on a regular basis, so I just got on board with them.I used to dread going to the gym, but now that it has become this routine I have, I actually look forward to it! Like, after work today, me and my girlfriend are going and it's not wearing me down thinking about it! Read how I did it…

I have come very far with this goal.
I now usually go to the gym 3 times a week and I am really enjoying it. There are some great classes and I am starting to see a big difference in what I am capable of and I am more toned.
CynicalSunshine needs to find some inspiration.
3 times a week? HA! I’m doing this DAILY now.
Total 360. I went from hitting the snooze button and saying “I’ll start this next week (for MONTHS…nearly a year)” to waking up before my alarm goes off and, never thought I’d say it, LOOKING FORWARD TO doing this.
I think what motivated me to finally tackle an exercise routine was my accidental weight loss through completing another goal on my list, Eat Healthier. Weight loss was not at all my goal, but a welcomed result. After losing 10 lbs by taking really small steps with my diet, I starting thinking about how I could take small steps to tone up my body.
I started running (more of a jog/waddle… a joddle?) every morning for about 20 minutes. I take my time. Set little goals for myself. It’s nothing huge, but it’s doable. I think that’s the key. When I’ve tried to do this in the past I had unrealistic goals like “Lose 30 lbs” or “get abs”. My goal is just to get in shape – be healthy, but I’ll welcome any added bonuses.
I’m hoping that after a couple months of doing this, I’ll be able to start adding calisthenics to my routine to switch it up a couple days a week. Right now, after my run, I’m wiped and barely have the energy to shower! I’m sure that’ll change in time.
I’m proud of myself. If I can keep this up for a year, I’ll take it off my list.
I joined a gym at the beginning of April and have really enjoyed going so far. It has made this goal much easier.
I’ve been 4 times a week for the past two weeks and will go later today – so I’ve just got to keep up the momentum.
I work Mon-Fri and sometimes Sat, I have class Tue & Thur PM. I plan to do the gym twice a week and take a hike at least once a week. As long as I stick with this plan, it’ll be easy. I’ll try to post every week my progress. If I am able to keep this up for at least three months, I’ll consider the goal attained.
Here is where I will keep track of my daily aerobics and pilates.
Aerobics 5 times a week and pilates 3 times.
March 13, Today I did both.
