Been hitting about 2 a week. Then last week I skipped the whole week. But I do feel better overall to do it. more willingness to go please, universe! i am willing.
How I did it: I moved back to Scotland and started running with my friend up here. Having a running partner helps me stick to it. We started off with a couple of runs a week and have built this up. We did a 10k last week which was the furthest I have managed for a year. It helps to set a goal to have something to aim for. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Luckily, I've got friends who work out on a regular basis, so I just got on board with them.I used to dread going to the gym, but now that it has become this routine I have, I actually look forward to it! Like, after work today, me and my girlfriend are going and it's not wearing me down thinking about it! Read how I did it…

dancetoyourownbeat is bored/tired
yoga, walking, running, boxing, skipping, dancing – just want to get active!
I’ve been discharged from physical therapy for a shoulder surgery, and some other ongoing orthopedic problems. Last time I was discharged I was sure I would follow through, maintain my gains and avoid getting back into pain. The working out makes me feel good and keeps muscles strong that correct my problems. Well it lasted 1 1/2 weeks. Soo back to physical therapy I went. If i don’t exercise the pain let’s me know it!
I was discharged in August. My goal was 3x a week and I was successful for much longer. Then I had an appendectomy earlier in Oct. and wasn’t allowed to exercise for a little bit. The surgeon currently has cleared me to do some mild exercise but I find myself avoiding it. the surgery was Oct 8 and laparscopic. I’m back to work and know from previous surgeries that I won’t get my full energy back for another 2-4 weeks but I know there’s some resistance on my part to do what I could to. Surgury fatigue is such an easy rational. So It feels good to “confess”, It relieves some of my own embarressment. I guess I’d like some gentle encouragement to do what I can. Thanks
I’ve been going to the gym for about a year now, and i rather enjoy it. But i’d like to be more faithful with my gym visits, because i feel that i’m not getting the most out of it. There was a time i would go 4 or 5 times a week, but now i get lazy, or i’m too busy – but if i really wanted to do something, i’d find time to do it, right? So i’m gonna go to the gym 3 times a week. I vow to go three times a week.
elleelle86 is feeling stuckkkkkk
Found a cute little gym a few blocks from my house and a girlfriend to work out with, yay! Not really interested in losing a great deal of weight, but want to do some major toning, raise my energy levels, and hopefully help me cope with my recent bouts with depression. Haven’t worked out on a regular basis is years, but I felt like a million bucks when I did. I want that feeling back!
If I set my goal at 5/6/7days I know I’ll be setting myself up for failure…it’s just not possible with my schedule. 1hr a day, 3days a week is more my style! :)
sarahpage is relaxing at home
Went twice this week… don’t foresee myself getting there agin as I am having driving lessons this week (see other drivers licence goal lol) but twice is more than none!

I’ve been sick so I haven’t exercised at all for 2 weeks, it sucks but I plan to go to the gym tommorow.
