I’m surprised I’m even up to be on here right now, but I said I’d update on everything…I woke last night around 2am with really bad cramps and heavy bleeding so Shawn took me to the hospital…turns out I had a miscarriage. I’m trying to keep my chin up. I’m only 19 so I have tons of time to have a baby, but it still hurts knowing I lost this one.



Oh Thanksgiving... 1 day ago

We had this Thanksgiving “dinner” today at school for English class. There wasn’t really a lot of food but I demolished the chocolate chip cookies, I probably ate like 7-10 of them and some cake. LOL anyway, that’s something I can’t resist… I just LOVE cookies and chocolate. Tomorrow will be a new day and I’m sure it will be better :)

Today so far I have had a cereal bar for breakfast and pasta & tomatos for lunch. I’m glad I’m already done with that Phonetics tests it’s a great relief!!! Now… I have to go make some photocopies downtown and hopefully I’ll have some dinner/tea when I get back.

Feeling pretty sick and tired so my appetite is gone. eeeek. I’ll get in bed and rest.

Some News! 3 days ago

Well girls, I’ll be keeping up with this goal but I have some pretty big news to share with you all…I’m having a baby :) I just found out this morning and my due date is roughly around July 16. I’m pretty nervous but more excited than anything else. I’ll keep you all posted on how things are going!

I just finished a small bowl of cereal + yogurt. No biking to school today, I’m going to bring some coffee with me, and have lunch when I get back home. around 1ish… I’ll update later!

I had to get some pictures taken and go to a job interview so I ended up having a pretty late lunch, white rice and some chicken. meh… not bad. I’ll have some tea later, lots to study tonight…bummer.

Monday 3 days ago

Breakfast: 2 packs of oatmeal with 1/2 cup of low fat milk. One glass of water
Lunch: Tuna salad (light mayo, tuna, pickles) and water
Supper: Stupid friggin McDonalds!! One junior chicken burger and a large (shameful I know) fries. Water too

Today wasn’t too bad until supper…stupid McDonalds. I didn’t exercise either but I plan on going for a walk with my fiance tomorrow. I also drank about 1 1/2 L of water so I’m pretty impressed with myself!! I’m trying to get back down to 130 by January 31…need to stop with the darn fast food!!



Yesterday... 4 days ago

I ended up having some ice cream in the afternoon after lunch, but that’s ok, surprisingly, that didn’t lead to a binge after so I’m pretty happy about it. Today at school I had some sort of chips, I thought I would have been able to resist the craving but ended up giving in, one thing though, they made me feel better I guess I was truly hungry… or something. I really wanted to buy more after but I didn’t let myself do it. I won’t let those ‘slips’ screw up my whole “Watching what I eat” thing… Totally fine as long as I don’t over do. I hope you’re all doing great today :)

It’s now 6.54 pm, having some green tea and getting stuff ready for some hardcore studying/homework… YUCK.

I just got back from a bike ride, it’s a gorgeous day, I feel more relaxed now, I’m glad I got my butt out there! :P

Not one for dieting 6 days ago

I have never been one for dieting. The thought of deliberately denying myself food when my body is telling me it needs it has always seemed foolish to me. However, I do want to lose weight and I think that eliminating junk food and portion control are the way to do. Exercise would help but fitting into my current life is difficult (yeah yeah I know – I should make time, etc. etc.) but trying to be realistic here.

I have been trying to lose 10 lbs for the longest time and I did get there – well almost) only to put most of it back again so that hasn’t been going so great. I am hoping sharing with others who also have a similar goal might be the way to go.

I am at 166 lbs and need to go to 110 – 115 or thereabouts. Currently wearing 16/18 W. So, aim for a 10 lbs loss and at least a size 14 for now.

I have realized I’m a major binge eater. I have been working on portion control and also trying to have dinner earlier, around 6 or 7 pm. It makes me feel better in the morning because I don’t feel terribly heavy or bloated when I wake up. I find that very helpful, it may sound silly… but to me it can make the difference between a ‘good’ and a ‘blaaaahhh’ day (weight-wise, of course).

I’ll keep posting and making sure I watch what I eat.
My goal is to lose 3 kg by the end of the year…doable. I hope!
