How to go to a World Series game
It made me
Excited

How I did it: I've lived in Tampa my entire life, just like my father and grandfather. I was there for the day The Devil Rays had the first ball thrown in the first game in the Trop and I followed them through out the bad times and the rough. So when I got tickets for World Series, game 2, I knew I had to go. And let me just tell you, if your home team gets into the World Series, go. If you have to eat beans and rice for a month, go. If you like them that is. When you hear the cowbell ringing ALL over the stadium, it's amazing. And when you're cheering along with a thousand other voices, it's something you'll never forget. |

How I did it: I have been a Colorado Rockies fan since day one. I went to the first two games the team ever played. They were both on the road against the New York Mets (It helped that I was living in New York at the time). I also went to the first game ever played at Coors Field back when it opened in 1995 (I was living in Colorado then). So needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the 21 wins in 22 games run that the Rockies went on to make it into the … Read how I did it…
I went to Game 2 of the 2006 World Series where the Detroit Tigers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals. Unfortunately for me and the Tigers, Detroit lost the series 5-1. It cost me $400 a ticket, but it was totally worth it! An experience I will never forget!

I don’t know if “given up” is right for this goal, but for right now, it is. This October isn’t the right year for it … unless by some miracle the Cubs?

I won tickets through work and my girlfriend and I went to game 3….I live in Denver, so it was a little disappointing, but it was still pretty awesome to be part of. Totally worth doing!

The Tigers have lost six games so far. All six games of the season. Wow.

The Padres got swept in four games and the final game was in Jack Murphy Stadium. But, it was such an experience. After the game the Padres fans stayed and cheered on the pads to come back out after the game. All the players came out and showed their appreciation it was amazing.

Not looking so good for one being in my backyard this year. And if the World Series isn’t played at Comerica at all, I can’t go this year. Come on, Tigers, win ‘em all!
