I am making a wrist cuff. It’s brown curduroy on the outside and light blue calico cotton inside. I’m going to handsew a snap closure on it rather than try to mess with buttonholes and all that. I think I might keep this one for myself. I am thinking it would be a good thing to wear and pin witty message buttons to, or charms or my watch, which has a broken band.

I design it in my head, as i go along. sewing machines are a last resort to me. theyre hassle. as long as you have the patience you can do it by hand. it feels more of your own then. I have learnt from my mistakes which means my clothes and accessories get better and better! x

i so want the t-shirt book that tells me how to cut up my tee’s and redesign them. you know, that t-shirt book? unfortunately, last night when i went to the books tore, it was still really expensive. boo.
